Zoe-perry
Perry was born on the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first television roles included two episodes on the show as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in the ABC sitcom Roseanne as the character played by her mother. She was not allowed to start acting with her parents till she reached an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the strain it might create. Perry shy and shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began performing at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry, after graduating from Boston University, relocated into New York in search of TV roles. She landed small parts in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But, her home-sickness led her to California in search of theater jobs. Perry starred with her mother in The Other Place at Broadway the previous year. Her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer prize-winning film Anna Christie alongside her in the year 2015. Perry was featured nine times on The Family, an ABC drama The Family, in 2016. Her father portrayed her in her role on the ABC Drama Scandal. Also, she was cast on The CBS show The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger than Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. She was cast in the role despite having a close family connection to the character.
