Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina started her career writing nuclear energy policies and budgets to the White House. Though she found the career to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she lost her interest in it and bought a tiny speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. After nearly 18 years of making the business a massive success, she sold it and began creating her first novel. In the following years, numerous books were released and she also wrote magazine columns. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too began its run and was an instant hit. Her products range from appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina is an aspiring cook that hasn't gone to a cooking academy and has never worked in a kitchen. She is well-known for her easy way of entertaining and easy cooking. Her most well-known dishes include Skillet roasted lemon chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac and Cheese.
